We Believe
We believe in being the change. The construction industry is a huge contributor to the climate issues we are facing today. Business as usual will make things worse; there is a very real urgency required to change the way we construct our built environment. The good thing is we have the solutions now.
We have the knowledge and technology currently available to us to not only create truly sustainable buildings, but also to design them to be regenerative – to repair.
We take responsibility. As an industry we must do better. Sustainable design is our mission. We genuinely want to make a difference and be at the forefront of how we improve the buildings that we spend our time in. Our staff have all been hand-picked because of their passion and knowledge of sustainability solutions.
We encourage each other to do better with every project. We are constantly learning and studying to improve our knowledge and how we approach design. We understand that we have a responsibility to use and share that knowledge to be part of the change that is needed.
We love designing beautiful, sustainable spaces that connect to nature and provide a peaceful refuge from the busyness of daily life. Designing appropriately sized, energy efficient buildings that minimise carbon intensive materials is how we are going to drive the change that future generations require of us.
It’s good to be home
The goal with our designs is the have you put the key into your front door, walk in and say to yourself “it’s good to be home”.
This simple statement means so many things. Your home is a place of security, privacy, refuge; you are proud of your home and enjoy the spaces that it provides you. It also means that the house is comfortable, energy efficient and healthy to live in; the temperature is right; the light is right; the air is right.
Your home will also provide those things important to you; practical spaces, intimate spaces, entertainment spaces, connection to nature, inspiration.
It should always be good to be home.
