Feature in Hemp Sensation Article, Issue 63
We’re delighted to be featured in the current issue of Sanctuary magazine. ‘A new approach’ on pages 46-49 profiles our clients’ beautiful family home in Eerwah Vale. The 8.9 star, off-grid property is the result of the owner’s brief to Brett for a home that wouldn’t require “constantly spending money on lots of heating and cooling”. Also interested in alternative construction materials, it presented Brett the opportunity to design a passive solar home using both hand-tempered and spray-on hempcrete. The latter being a new technique in Australia and one that required some innovative teamwork between hempcrete installer Tom Cunliffe and owner Mark to perfect the spraying technique!
